What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can remember things between page loads — for example that you have already submitted a form, or that a security check has passed. Similar technologies such as local storage work the same way.
Cookies we use
| Type | What it does | Your control |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the site working — page navigation, form submission, security and spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA). | Cannot be switched off without breaking core features such as our enquiry forms. |
| Functional | Remember small preferences you set while browsing, such as a form step you have already completed. | Can be cleared at any time from your browser settings. |
| Embedded content | Google Maps on our Contact page and any embedded media may set cookies from those providers when the content loads. | Managed through your browser or the provider's own privacy settings. |
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell any information collected through cookies.
Third parties that may set cookies
- Google reCAPTCHA — protects our enquiry, quote, booking and contact forms from automated spam.
- Google Maps — powers the map embed on our Contact page.
- Our payment provider — sets cookies on its own secure checkout pages when you choose to pay online.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies from its settings or privacy menu — usually under "Cookies and site data". Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this site, such as form submission, from working properly.
