End your safari or Kilimanjaro climb on the Indian Ocean. One short flight from Arusha or Kilimanjaro, then three to seven nights of reef, dhows and rest — arranged as part of the same trip.
Arusha or Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar takes roughly 60–90 minutes, so a safari or climb can end on the beach the same day.
Snorkelling at Mnemba atoll, sunset dhow sails, kitesurfing at Paje and dolphins off Kizimkazi.
Dry, hot months from June to October and again from late December to February line up with the best safari and climbing seasons.
From simple beach bungalows in Paje to all-inclusive resorts in Nungwi and Kiwengwa, plus boutique riads in Stone Town.
| Length | Shape of the stay | Best for |

5 nights Beach plus island culture | Two nights in Stone Town or Paje and three on the north coast, with time for a dhow sunset sail, snorkelling at Mnemba or Nakupenda sandbank. | Couples and honeymooners who want both the town and the beach. |
7 nights Full island week | One base on the coast with day trips — Jozani forest and red colobus monkeys, spice farms, Prison Island, a diving or kitesurfing course at Paje. | Families and anyone who wants to stop moving for a week. |
Hotel rates in Zanzibar move a lot by season and standard, so we quote your extension rather than publish a fixed price.
Send us the number of nights, the sort of hotel you want and which trip the extension follows. We come back with flights, transfers and two or three hotel options — usually within 24 hours. No deposit is required at this step.
Yes — it is the most popular add-on we arrange. Your safari or climb finishes in Arusha or Moshi, and we put you on a short flight to Zanzibar the next morning. We handle the flight, the airport transfers and the hotel booking so it is one itinerary rather than two separate trips.
Three nights is the minimum that feels like a holiday rather than a transit. Five nights lets you split your time between Stone Town and the coast, and seven nights suits families or anyone who wants to dive, kitesurf or simply not move for a week.
Around 60 to 90 minutes on the direct domestic hops from Arusha or Kilimanjaro International. Flights run daily; we book the timing around your last game drive or your descent day.
Nungwi and Kendwa in the north have the best swimming at all tides and the liveliest beaches. Paje and Jambiani on the east are quieter and best for kitesurfing. Stone Town suits a night or two of history, food and markets before or after the coast.
June to October is dry, breezy and the natural pairing with the peak safari and Kilimanjaro season. Late December to February is hotter and also excellent. The long rains in April and May bring heavy showers and some hotel closures.
It depends entirely on the hotel standard and season, so we quote it rather than publish a fixed rate. Send us your dates, the number of nights and the sort of hotel you have in mind and we will come back with flights, transfers and hotel options within 24 hours.
