Arusha or Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar takes roughly 60 to 90 minutes, so your last game drive morning can end with dinner by the ocean.
How the extension worksInsurance matters more on a honeymoon
Travel insurance is mandatory on our trips and must cover your planned activities, including trekking up to 6,000 m if you climb. Zanzibar also requires its own inbound policy from October 2026.

How much does a Tanzania honeymoon safari cost?
Every honeymoon is different, so the cost depends on your dates, plans, and what you’d like to include. Send us your travel dates and wish list, and we’ll tailor the safari to your needs and budget, then put together a quote for you with no obligation.
Can we combine a safari and Zanzibar in one honeymoon?
Yes, and it is the most popular honeymoon plan we arrange. The safari ends in Arusha or at Kilimanjaro airport, and a short flight puts you on the island the same afternoon.
Is a private safari possible for two?
Yes. Any of our safari itineraries can run privately for two people with your own guide and vehicle. The per-person price is higher than joining a group, and we quote it clearly before you commit.
How far in advance should we book a honeymoon?
Three to six months ahead is comfortable for most dates. For the June to October and Christmas peak seasons, earlier is better, especially if you want specific rooms on Zanzibar.
What deposit is required?
Safari trips are confirmed with a 25 to 30 percent deposit and Kilimanjaro treks with 10 percent, payable by card or mobile money through Pesapal, or by bank wire. The balance is due before the trip starts, and you can also pay in full up front if you prefer.
